Veterinarian

Our veterinarian, Dr. Vinod Jayani (Patel), DVM has been taking care of pets for more than 35 years, serving the San Dimas community since 1986. He is a member of California Veterinary Medical Association, Southern California Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Patel is a National Accredited Veterinarian who participates with the Federal government able to complete animal inspections and issue health certificates for interstate and international transportation of cats and dogs.

Dr Patel's passion for ongoing education far exceeds the minimum training required for certification. Some of his credentials:

• Instrumental in founding Emergency Pet Clinic
• Vaccine Clinic for SCVM
• Worked four years as an Emergency Veterinarian at local Emergency Pet Clinic serving communities surrounding San Dimas.
• Providing Free/Complementary first Complete Health Examination since 1986 to present for pets adopted from any and all Humane Societies and Animal Shelters.
• Rabies Vaccination Clinics for Pomona Valley Humane Society at shelter and in City of San Dimas Clinics.
• Numerous Rabies Vaccination Clinics for Southern California Veterinary Medical Association in surrounding communities.
• Donated time at L.A. Fair—Southern California Veterinary Medical Association Booth—performing live Spay/Neuter procedure at Mobile Surgical Suite.
• Donation to support "San Dimas Monument Project"—"Our Neighbor Sheriff's Station".

• Provide training and experience to future veterinarians. Two are licensed and practicing excellent veterinary medicine, and two more at present are attending veterinary college. More students are getting their training and experience currently to go to veterinary college and fulfill their professional career goal.
• Provide Educational Tours and fun experiences at our state of the art animal hospital for the Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts and SPCA-CA chapter children.
